The Government Communications Department was repeatedly accused of putting more interest in protecting the image of Prime Minister Marin than in reporting the facts to the public.
Between January 2020 and May 2021, a total amount of 14,363.20 euros was paid with public money for breakfasts and other meals for the Prime Minister and her family.
The tax administration also says that the € 14,000 in food benefits enjoyed by the prime minister and her family at the official residence must be declared and taxed.
