The Russian army launched five missile attacks on the western Ukrainian city of Lviv on Monday morning, according to Ukrainian reports.
The city's mayor, Andriy Sadovy, wrote on his Facebook page of "five targeted missile strikes on Lviv."
The fire brigade is already at the scene. The Kiev authorities have so far reported six deaths, but this figure could soon increase because there are also at least 11 people injured.
According to media reports, Lviv is still under air alert. Further attacks cannot be ruled out.
Lviv has already been the target of Russian airstrikes several times.
The Russian military mainly bombarded military targets near the city, including an airport.
