Christmas is coming, and for many foreigners it is time to return home to spend a few days off.

To make it more enjoyable, special activities are scheduled at Helsinki Airport from 1 December until Christmas Eve, informed Finnish airport operator Finavia.

During Advent, memorable events are also set to take place at the airport. With these, Helsinki Airport wants to help passengers waiting for their flights get into the holiday spirit and offer international travelers uniquely Finnish Christmas experiences.

For example, passengers may meet Santa Claus and his elves, who will visit the check-in and gate areas every day between 13:00 and 17:00. Santa’s entourage can be found among well-behaving children and adults alike, so those who catch a glimpse of a red robe may go to say hi!
