Finland scored twice within three minutes to claim a stunning 2-0 victory at world champions France in a friendly international on Wednesday.

Les Bleus lost for the first time ever against Finland who will make their Euro debut next year.

France dominated early on with debutant Marcus Thuram heading against the crossbar and aiming high, but Marcus Forss opened the scoring on the other end against the flow of play in the 28th, and Onni Valakari smashed the second into the top left corner in the 31st.

The hosts failed to come back after the break in the empty Stade de France as they lost for the first time against the Finns who have improved lately and will play at their first big event in next year's European championships.

Elsewhere, Euro title holders Portugal trounced minnows Andorra 7-0 with Cristiano Ronaldo among the scorers, the Netherlands and Spain drew 1-1, Italy beat Estonia 4-0, Germany defeated the Czech Republic 1-0, and Belgium prevailed 2-1 over Switzerland.
