Police request clues about missing Espoo FC football player

He was last seen on Friday 7 around 1:00 in Töölö (Helsinki).

Police are investigating the disappearance of Miikka Leinonen, a 20-year-old football player from Espoo FC, who is missing since last week.

According to the information released by the Western Uusimaa Police Department, Leinonen was last seen on Friday 7 February around 1:00 at Linnakoskenkatu bus stop in Töölö (Helsinki).

Police say he had apparently been traveling from Otaniemi (Espoo) to downtown Helsinki.

The missing man is 180 centimeters tall, athletic and has short, light hair. At the time of his disappearance, he wore the jacket shown in the picture.

Leinonen plays as a defender for Espoo FC. He has been a team member for four seasons. He represented Finland once in one under-18 match. Espoo FC has also requested collaboration in order to find him.
