Cristiano Ronaldo looks set to remain at Juventus, according to coach Massimiliano Allegri.

"Cristiano has told me that he is staying," he told a press conference on Saturday before Sunday's Serie A opener at Udinese.

Allegri said Ronaldo had always trained well and had never expressed the will to leave.

In recent weeks, there have been constant rumours in the Italian media about the 36-year-old Portugal star leaving the Turin club, with his former sides Real Madrid and Manchester United being mentioned.

His contract with Juve runs until next July.

Speculation

In a recent post on social media, Ronaldo warned people not to speculate about his future.

Juve missed out on the Italian title last term for the first time in 10 seasons.
