The police caught them red-handed, allegedly committing heinous crimes against a defenseless victim.

Three men aged 19, 30 and 31 of Moroccan origin were arrested on La Malagueta beach, in Malaga, for an alleged gang rape of a woman who was intoxicated.

According to the Sur newspaper, the alleged sexual assault occurred at dawn from Sunday to Monday. Local emergency services received a phone call from a witness saying that a drunk woman was being sexually abused on the beach.

The alert was communicated to the National Police, who immediately sent a patrol to the scene. There, they found three men, the alleged perpetrators of the attack, along with the victim, whose bag had also allegedly been stolen.

According to Sur, the woman had met one of the men involved in the events at a bar in the area. Later, he offered to walk her home for a walk on the beach.

The ABC newspaper reported that the witness who alerted the police was another woman who followed the victim and her companion because she did not trust him to have good intentions.

Sexual assault, robbery

Along the way, he allegedly tried to kiss her before starting to attack her. At that time, the other two involved would have appeared, according to the victim's testimony.

According to ABC, one of the three alleged aggressors raped the woman. The arrival of the police would have prevented the other two from doing so.

Upon arresting the three men, the police realized that one of them had seized the victim's belongings.

The three suspects have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the crimes of sexual assault and robbery with violence or intimidation.
