Police looking for suspect in armed robbery in Turku

The K-Market Suikkila was robbed on Thursday 24 October.

The K-Market Suikkila, located in Turku, was the scene of an armed robbery perpetrated on Thursday 24 October around 21:50, when it was about to close.

The Southwest Finland Police department released two photos of the suspect taken by the video security cameras.

The suspect has been described as a man from 20 to 35 years old, thin and approximately 1,80 meters tall. At the moment of the incident, he was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with Helly Hansen's logo (HH)  on the left side of the chest.

Investigators are asking witnesses for sightings of the suspect or any other clues about the incident.

Police say they cannot disclose more information about the case for investigative reasons.
