The Helsinki service point of the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) will remain closed on Thursday 23 September and on Thursday 4 November.

As reported by Migri in its customer bulletin, the reason for the closure will be "staff training."

"We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our customers," the immigration agency says.

The appointments already scheduled for 23 September and 4 November will be rescheduled for the following day as follows:

  • Appointments booked for Thursday 23 September will be moved to Friday 24 September at the same time.
  • Appointments scheduled for Thursday 4 November will be moved to Friday 5 November at the same time.

Customers should receive an email or a text message from Migri with the date and time of their new appointments.

New appointments can be changed or canceled using the reservation key provided in the message if they do not suit the customer's needs.

Alternatively, customers can email hakemukset@migri.fi to request a new appointment.
