The service point of the Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) in Helsinki has been moved to the Malmi neighborhood, in the north-eastern part of the Finnish capital city.

The new premises came into operation on Tuesday 6 April at the address Kaupparaitti 10, zip code 00700, Migri reported in its latest customer bulletin.

The previous service point at Käenkuja was closed permanently on 19 March. From now on, customers must visit the service point in Malmi.

The Malmi service point can be found in Migri's automatic appointment system under Helsinki: Malmi service point.

The new office is easy to reach by train or by bus.

For those arriving by car, there are parking places (parking free of charge for a limited time) for example along Viljatie and in the multi-storey car parks of Malmintori shopping centre, Migri says.

There is no on-site customer parking at the service point.

Security checks

Customers must be prepared to undergo a security check every time they enter the customer facilities.

Migri recommends to arrive at least 10 minutes before the appointed time.

Asylum interviews and oral hearings conducted in Helsinki will be held normally at the address Ratapihantie 11, Helsinki, even in future.
