The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has published in the Official State Gazette (BOE) an extract of the order offering grants for rural women's entities nationwide for the year 2022.

The Government has allocated 400,000 euros to this subsidy campaign.

According to a press release from the Ministry, these grants are aimed at associations that carry out activities to promote the incorporation of women into economic activity.

The call places special emphasis on "agricultural and complementary activities, thus promoting the participation of women in the social and economic development of rural areas," reads the text.

Rural women's associative entities that meet the requirements set out in the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies may benefit from these grants.

Non-profit entities

Among those requirements is having an area of state action expressly stated in its constitutive title and carrying out activities in at least three Spanish regions (autonomous communities), as well as not being for profit.

Applications must be submitted within 15 business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official State Gazette.
